Writing on the Back Burner

The Internet is a cool place. I spent a lot of time immersed in the Internet (click here for my other site). I like Twitter and blogs as much as the next guy. Most of all, writing is something I love to do.

I love summer and being with my family even more.

I thought when I started my new job, I would write more in the morning. That has not been the case. I have spent a lot more time exercising and reading my Bible instead.

I stated thinking, maybe I can write at night after the kids go to bed. Instead, I have been talking to my wife,playing Scrabble and hanging out with friends.

I do not want to stop writing, I love it. I just need to find a better way to incorporate it with the rest of my life. They say you will make time for what is important to you. I can see, thankfully, my relationship with Jesus and my family has out-ranked many other things. This in no way disappointments me.

As a matter of fact, it makes me exceedingly happy.
